Modules

There are vocabulary modules and grammar modules. During class pick a module based on your student’s interest and abilities.

The vocabulary modules are not hierarchical or assorted in order, you pick one based on your students’ interest (except for advanced topics). The grammar modules, however, are in order and build off of each other.

Vocabulary Modules

Beginner

1. Meeting people (talking about yourself, nationalities, personality) – ENG / ARA / FRE
2. Shopping for Fruits and Vegetables – ENG / ARA / FRE
3. Shopping for Manouche and Saj – ENG / ARA / FRE
4. Transportation- Taxis & Buses – ENG / ARA / FRE
5. In the Kitchen- Cooking Terms – ENG / ARA / FRE
6. In the City (directions) – ENG / ARA / FRE
7. Clothes (and shopping for them) – ENG / ARA / FRE
8. In the house (furniture, rooms) – ENG / ARA / FRE
9. Describing People & Taking care of children – ENG / ARA / FRE
10. Telling time (in conjunction with teaching past tense?) – ENG / ARA / FRE

    Intermediate (i.e. require some verb tenses)

    Advanced

    Grammar Modules

    1: Basic Verbs (to be, go, like, want, have) + Basic Conjugation of these verbs in present tense – ENG / ARA / FRE
    2: more verbs + explanation of conjugation rules (i.e. introduction of present tense structure)
    3: more verbs + continued practice of present tense + introduction of irregularities in structure
    4: more verbs +
